Our user's funds and card balances are segregated in order to ensure the maximum level of security possible. As you go about your spending, simply top up your card with the required amount of funds for your daily spending.
This way, should your Plutus Card ever be lost or stolen, the risk of having your funds drained is mitigated.
Note: You cannot transfer your funds back from your card balance to your account balance
Your top-up can take up to 1 working day (24 hours on a business day) to process.
Topping up your Plutus Card
If you want to start spending with your Plutus Card, you first need to top it up with some funds. You can do it in three different ways:
1 - Top up your Plutus Card with the funds from your Plutus Account balance.
On the Banking dashboard click the + next to the debit card balance.
Click Transfer from your Plutus Account and add the amount you'd like to top your card with.

2 - Top up your Plutus Card by selling PLU/ETH from your wallet using our DEX.
On the Banking dashboard click the + next to the debit card balance
Click Top up using crypto, choose the cryptocurrency and the amount you'd like to top your card with.
3 - Top up your Plutus Card by swapping your PLU rewards for funds.
Go to Pluton tab and click sell
Add the amount of PLU you wish to swap.
- Please note that daily and monthly swapping limits apply for this method.
Note: The process is the same for the mobile application
- I tried to top-up my Plutus Card by swapping PLU rewards to card, but it got stuck on pending or transferred status.

- I want to transfer funds from my Plutus Card back to my Plutus Account.
As it is stated above, this is not possible. Once you top up your Plutus Card, funds cannot be moved back to your Plutus Account.
- Can I top up my Plutus Card with a direct bank transfer or another card payment?
No, these options are not possible. Only three mentioned ways of top-ups are possible.
- I topped up my Plutus Card and instantly made a payment, which got declined.
Please wait for a few minutes after your top-up to make a purchase. If your payment still gets declined, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
- I have waited 1 working day (24 hours on a business day)and I have not received it.
